Recognition of mortgage:

Translation: Course Selection Notice for Summer Inter-university General Education Courses

  1. Check Recognition Status: Before selecting a course, please confirm whether it is recognized by NCCU, the number of credits that can be transferred, and any department-specific exclusions.

  2. Credit Limit: In accordance with Article 3 of the "National Chengchi University Regulations for Domestic Inter-university Course Selection," the total limit for current undergraduates and incoming freshmen is 6 credits per semester (including summer session).

  3. Required Documents for Registration:

    • Current Students: Upload your Certificate of Enrollment (Spring 2025/114-2) and Student ID to the website.

    • Incoming Freshmen: Upload your NCCU Admission Letter.

  4. Credit Transfer for Freshmen: For recognized courses taken by incoming freshmen, you must proactively apply for credit transfer at the Center for General Education before 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30. This process is handled via a special petition; late applications will not be processed.

  5. Credit Recording for Current Students: Recognized courses taken by current undergraduates will be registered as summer courses. Grades will be automatically recorded on the official transcript once they are received (no additional steps required).

  6. Graduate Students (Master's/PhD): Credits earned from these courses will not be counted towards degree requirements and will not be recorded on the official transcript.

  7. Department Exclusions for IT Courses: The courses "Programming for Data Science" and "Operations Research: Models and Algorithms (English Taught)" exclude students from the following departments:

    • Department of Statistics

    • Department of Management Information Systems (MIS)

    • Department of Land Economics (Land Surveying and Information track)

    • Department of Applied Mathematics

    • Department of Computer Science

    • International College of Innovation (Bachelor Program)

    • Note: Students from these departments should avoid these courses as credits will not be recognized.
