下載課程大綱
The fewer the words, the better the prayer. — Martin Luther.

This adage perfectly captures the essence of our course, Fundamentals of English Writing (FEW). Designed to transform you into a FEWer — a more concise, clear, and effective writer.

Throughout this immersive educational experience, you will develop essential skills in academic English writing. The curriculum focuses on mastering common rhetorical patterns, refining paragraph and essay development techniques, enhancing grammatical proficiency, and acquiring crucial academic vocabulary. You will explore various essay types through engaging lectures, discussions, and peer collaboration.

The course is conducted in English and comprises two hours of insightful lectures, complemented by an additional hour of interactive discussions. These sessions offer a platform for active participation, clarification, and collaborative learning.

A distinctive feature of FEW is the culmination of your efforts in the form of an oral presentation. This practical application reinforces your writing capabilities and hones your ability to articulate and present research findings effectively.

As your dedicated professor, my commitment is to create an enriching and supportive learning environment that empowers you to excel in English writing. FEW goes beyond grammar and mechanics; it is a journey toward becoming a proficient writer who can share ideas clearly and confidently. Join us and discover the power of fewer words.
