1. Credit Recognition

Before enrolling, please verify whether the course is recognized as a graduation credit by your department. You can check the recognition status by visiting the Soochow University General Education Center website:「學生專區」->「暑期通識」->「115年度-夏季學院」

2. Eligibility & Restrictions

• Graduate Students: Master’s and Doctoral students are not eligible to enroll in Summer College courses for credit. However, you may audit courses that are open to the public.

• Suspended Students: Students who are on a leave of absence during the Spring Semester of 2026 (114-2) are not eligible to participate in summer sessions.

• Duplicate Courses: Do not retake courses you have already completed; duplicate courses will result in a failure to waive or transfer credits.

3. Maximum Credit Limit

According to Article 4 of the "Soochow University Summer Session Regulations," the total number of credits taken during the summer (both on and off-campus) must not exceed nine (9) credits.

• Students are responsible for calculating their total credits.

• The General Education Center will not be held responsible if credits cannot be waived due to exceeding this limit.

4. Credit Recognition Semester

Credits earned will be recorded in the following semesters:

• Incoming Freshmen (High School Seniors): Fall Semester 2026 (115-1)

• Current Students: Spring Semester 2026 (114-2)

5. Announcement Schedule

The Credit Recognition Survey is scheduled to be released on Monday, April 24. Any updates regarding early or delayed release will be posted on the General Education Center website
