[Sharing] Survey on Expectations and Risk Perceptions of Artificial Intelligence Applications

The rapid development and widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology are bringing unprecedented innovation opportunities to society. However, with the popularization of this technology, its potential risks and challenges are becoming increasingly prominent, sparking widespread discussion. How to ensure that AI technology can effectively address risks while promoting social progress, and achieve an appropriate balance between human rights protection and industrial development, has become an important issue of global concern.
To understand the public's imagination of AI applications and their concerns about AI risks, this survey focuses on the innovative applications of AI and risk balancing, collecting public opinions on the possibilities of AI applications and understanding the AI ​​risk aspects that various sectors are concerned about. Through citizen participation, it is hoped that more inclusive and forward-looking AI governance policies can be shaped, laying a solid social foundation for the development of AI in our country.

Fill in the reward

Those who complete the questionnaire and have it confirmed by the implementing unit (as per the instructions) will receive one coffee gift card (electronic redemption number) for the first 1,200 participants, and an additional coffee gift card (electronic redemption number) for the first 500 participants, for a maximum of two cards per person. Currently, 1,167 cards remain (the remaining number of gift cards will be updated on this website every Monday after the start date of the activity).
Note 1: This reward is only valid for use in Taiwan proper and outlying islands.
Note 2: The implementing unit will first confirm whether the questionnaire content complies with the activity guidelines, and will then contact the respondents. As the reward needs to be recognized, please provide your accurate personal information within the time specified in the email (the order of reward receipt will be based on the time of receipt of personal information). After receiving the personal information, the implementing unit will send the coffee gift card (electronic redemption number) to the respondent's email address within 10 business days.
Note 3. Please check your mail receipt status. If you are unable to receive mail due to mailbox settings issues or other factors and the deadline for redeeming your electronic redemption code has passed (September 30, 2025), the prize will not be reissued.

Precautions

  1. By participating in the questionnaire, you agree to these rules and regulations. In case of any dispute, the organizer and implementing unit reserve the right of final interpretation.
  2. If a participant is under 18 years of age, they should participate with their legal representative or guardian. Submitting the form will be presumed to mean that their legal representative or guardian has understood and agreed to accept the relevant rights and obligations.
  3. The organizers and implementers reserve the right to review the eligibility of participants in this questionnaire. If any participant is found to have participated using malicious computer programs or other methods that clearly violate the fairness of the activity, or if the participant is found to be ineligible according to the questionnaire, the reward may be revoked upon discovery or upon report by a third party.
  4. Participants in completing the questionnaire must ensure that the innovative scenarios they fill in are original and do not involve duplication, modification, plagiarism, imitation, or other infringements of the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties. If such infringements are reported or verified, their eligibility will be automatically revoked and any rewards will be returned.
  5. The content submitted regarding innovative scenarios must conform to the theme and spirit of this event, and must not involve pornography, violence, attacks, defamation, or similar content. Entries containing a large number of repetitive fixed numbers, words, or sentences will be disqualified from winning.
  6. By completing the form, you are deemed to have fully understood all the terms and conditions of this policy and agree to fully comply with all the regulations. Any matters not covered herein shall be governed by the relevant regulations or interpretations of the organizer and implementing unit, and shall be announced at any time.
  7. The personal data collected by the implementing unit will be used for contact, research analysis, and verification in this questionnaire survey. Respondents may request access to the data, a copy, corrections, cessation of collection, processing, and use, or deletion of the personal data they provided.
  8. The value of the prizes should be legally recognized. Participants are requested to fill in their true personal information after completing the questionnaire. If any false information is provided, the participant will be automatically disqualified from winning the prize. If any prizes have already been awarded, they should be returned in full.
  9. The organizers and implementers reserve the right to modify the number and types of awards at any time.
  10. Any dispute arising from this event may be submitted for mediation or handled through civil or administrative litigation, with Taipei, Taiwan as the court of first instance.

 

Intellectual Property Rights Statement

If you are under 18 years of age and still wish to participate in this questionnaire, please read, understand, and agree to this Intellectual Property Statement together with your parent(s) (legal representative or guardian). By completing this questionnaire, it is presumed that your parent(s) (legal representative or guardian) has read, understood, and agreed to accept this Intellectual Property Statement. If any content you provide violates the relevant provisions of this statement, your legal representative or guardian shall also bear legal responsibility.

  1. The intellectual property rights of the information provided belong to the person who provided it.
  2. Participants must guarantee that the information provided for this event, including but not limited to the content, images, text, presentations, videos, and other materials, does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of others, or violate any laws. Otherwise, the organizers and executive units will disqualify the participant and return the prize. If the organizers or executive units are subject to claims by a third party due to the aforementioned circumstances, the participant must immediately resolve the issue, and shall be responsible for all litigation costs, attorney fees, or other related expenses incurred. The participant shall also be liable for compensation if this causes direct or indirect damage (including but not limited to reputational damage) to the organizers or executive units.
  3. Participants agree to grant the organizer or implementing unit, free of charge, the right to use (including but not limited to the names and images of participants) all texts, presentations, photographs, videos, and other materials provided for participation in this event, without restrictions on region, time, frequency, or for-profit or non-profit methods (including but not limited to printing, display, publicity, reporting, publication, or public disclosure), or to sublicense to third parties. Participants also agree that the organizer or implementing unit may modify, reproduce, edit, and exercise all other rights enjoyed by the copyright holder under copyright law, without further notice to the participants. Unless it involves defamation of moral character, participants and their members agree not to exercise moral rights against the organizer or implementing unit.
  4. By submitting this form, the applicant agrees to authorize the organizer or implementing unit free of charge to request relevant photos or videos during the course of this event for the purpose of recording, promoting, and marketing this event or related events, and to publish the aforementioned photos or videos in any form.
  5. The implementing unit shall have the priority right to negotiate cooperation regarding the transfer or licensing of intellectual property rights, including those related to the intellectual property itself and its derivatives.
